+Lower Level Project final numbers! $87,000 was authorized for the project, $84,521 was spent. Council authorized some added work to bring the south end of the basement (flooring, ceiling, lighting) up to date to match. Those items came to $18,928.  That amount includes stripping/sealing the floor in the entire basement as well. Your generous offerings and $28,000 from the Memorial Fund covered all of the $84,521. We need to ‘refill’ the Building and Grounds fund for the extra $18,928, as we have a repair (and what we hope is a more permanent fix) for some wind damage to the aluminum trim at the peak of the entry way. We’ve had problems with that high trim before, and Property Team is having it replaced with steel trim, which should do the job!
