Each Fall we provide Lutheran World Relief with Personal Care Kits and

Quilts to send to less fortunate neighbors in the US and around the world. 

Each Personal Care Kit provides a needy person with basic grooming necessities and 2 bars of soap, tied up in a towel of their own. This year demand for Personal Care Kits is higher than ever, so we need your help. Last year we shipped 69 Personal Care Kits. This year’s goal is to double that number to 140+ kits, to give basic cleanliness and comfort to twice as many people.  To reach that goal Ruth Circle will be collecting bath size towels (darker colors preferred) and individually wrapped bars of soap this summer.

Here’s how we you can help. If each family that is able, will donate at least 1 towel and 2 bars of soap we could meet our goal. Let’s do it!  Bring your items anytime this summer and place them by the display in the Gathering Space and watch the donations grow.
